She is recognized for her expressive and inventive combination of singing and violin playing. Rather than using her voice solely for traditional singing, she treats it as an additional instrument, exploring extended vocal techniques, improvisation, and experimental sounds, constantly pushing her artistic boundaries.

Born in Germany, she spent the first years of her life with her lovely family in Italy and discovered at an early age her strong interest in arts and music. As a young adult she moved to Spain, returned to Germany in 2009 and studied jazz and classical violin at the university of arts in Berlin, UdK and the conservatory of music, Hanns Eisler. In 2022, she was an Artist in Residence at the Cité internationale des arts in Paris.

As a musician and composer she mainly moves between jazz, contemporary music, improvised music and avant-folk. Her main instruments are violin and voice. She is considered both, a brilliant violinist and a robust fiddler and currently lives in Berlin.
